An estimated 92 million tons of textile and garment waste ends up in landfills and oceans every year. Of that, 17 million tons are produced by the USA alone.

Approximately 60% of clothing produced today is made from plastic materials, such as polyester, nylon, and acrylic.

In 2018, the US EPA reported only 13% of clothing was recycled in the United States.

Our Approach

Climate change is complex, and the harsh reality is plastic clothing is not going away any time soon. Which is why we're focused on what we can control: creating garments from recycled plastics to reduce our contribution. Our commitment to sustainability drives us to innovate and find solutions to reduce our environmental impact.

One such innovation is the incorporation of organic additives into our recycled textiles. These additives accelerate the biodegradation process by attracting beneficial microbes that break down the material more efficiently. By integrating these eco-friendly components into our garments, we are taking significant steps towards reducing our environmental footprint and contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry.

Under landfill conditions, our textile achieves 30.5% degradation at 330 days.

In the ocean, our textile achieves 7.58% degradation after 30 days.

Our use of innovative additives underscores our unwavering dedication to sustainability. By incorporating these additives, our recycled textiles not only excel in reducing waste but also enhance biodegradation across various environments.
